Bishop Wesley indeed has demonstrated servanthood in ministry by feeding the hungry, Clothing and sheltering the homeless, ministering to the sick and advocating for those oppressed. “For God has truly anointed her with the Holy Spirit and with power, and she went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Her.” (Acts 10:38 KJV). Bishop-Elect Wesley loves to travel, and she has traveled across the United States, Cuba, and as far away as Israel. During her trip to Jerusalem, she was the only African American female and was so greatly esteemed by her peers that she was chosen to preach the Gospel in the Coenaculum at Mount Zion, Jerusalem.

In November 2009, Bishop-Elect Wesley retired from the United States Postal Service after 30 years of dedicated service. The Bishop-Elect is the mother of 3 children, Grandmother of 10 and great grandmother of 8. She declares that raising her children and grandchildren have been her hardest job of all! Bishop-Elect Wesley has been blessed to see many firsts in her life. Today, by the grace and glory of God, in conjunction with the Metropolitan Spiritual Churches of Christ Consecrated by Apostolic Succession, she will enjoy another first to the office of +Bishop.

Finally, it is her desire that we believe God for she says she knows, that she knows that she really does know that, “They that wait upon Lord shall renew their strength, they shall mount with wings as an eagle, they shall run and not get weary they shall walk and not faint.” (Isaiah 40:31 KJV)

So please, regardless of what it looks like, no matter what you are going through; STAND STILL and see the salvation of the Lord. For this day IS THE LORD’S DOING AND IT IS MARVELOUS IN OUR EYES!
